Retire Village – Whitelist A Single Email Address In Earthlink
Whitelisting a single address is recommended for most purposes because you are accepting only emails from that individual address – so essential business contacts and especially your clients should all be included in your whitelist.
It is recommended that you clear your browser cache before starting
then go to: http://webmail.earthlink.net
If you are taken to a windows that shows multiple email account profiles, go to the top right corner of the window and click on the envelope. You will most likely be taken to the inbox of your primary Earthlink email account.
At the top of that window you will find “Address Book” in the bar that has “Web Mail” at the left.
Click on Address Book
And arrive at this window:
Click on the “New Contact” radio button.
Then in the areas below, give the contact a name and be sure to enter their email address. You can click on the plus sign on the right to be able to add multiple addresses. If you want to make sure that you are receiving all of your Retire Village emails, include firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, and your Retire Village Email Alias (usually Your.Name@RetireVillage.com) this address is visible in the upper left hand corner of your Retire Village Website.
After entering information in the window above, click the “Save” radio button at the top or bottom of the page.
That takes you to the “Address Book” page.
Be sure to click on the “Update Whitelist” radio button at the top!
After you click on “Update Whitelist”, you will be presented with the splash window below:
You can then navigate through your Earthlink Webmail or can go to the upper right and click to “Sign Out”.
